Ability-Based Choirs

The Rocky Mountain Children’s Choir’s choral music education program is a sequential, ability-based model where children are placed in the ensemble that best meets their individual needs.  There are four different training choir levels and five performing choirs. Children enter the RMCC through a child friendly audition process that assesses vocal and musical readiness.  Singers are placed in the ensemble that is the best fit.  As a child’s skill and experience grows they are offered the opportunity to join more challenging ensembles.  No previous musical experience is necessary to become a member of the RMCC.
