On Mondays, singers from all over Denver join together to rehearse and collaborate. As singers progress through the ability-based choir levels, they continue to strengthen their musical skills and knowledge as well as their friendships. Summit Singers: an advanced level performance group for singers with exceptional skill and dedication with elite performance opportunities. Fourteeners: a select group of advanced members representing RMCC in community performances and collaborations. Mountain Men: a boys ensemble designed to give those with changed voices the opportunity to continue singing. Mountain Aires: a small select men's group -- also members of Mountain Men. Altitude: a 12-voice mixed acappella group comprised of advanced high school singers. Conducting Class I: By invitation, these RMCC singers learn basic conducting skills once a week. Conducting Class II: For those RMCC singers who have completed one year of Conducting Class I, this class is designed to teach a more advanced level of conducting, with some practical experience directing one of the large RMCC choirs. |
